Chances are that car is needing a motor if you blew the head gasket. Depending on how many miles that car has on it, you might have to replace the motor and you could be looking at $1500.00 depending on where you live and what parts and labor run you. Parts and Labor across the US vary tremendously. What costs $1000 to replace in Arizona now used to cost me $1500-1800 in California so prices vary to much to give you exacts. Your best bet is to check the local repair shops close to you.

That is bad. I suggest a new car from craigslist. When you blow the head gasket, the whole engin needs a rebuild, plus the damage to your piston rings or pistons. Ouch
