How much should I sell my Toyota Camry for?

Im trying to sell my Toyota Camry. It a 97 and has 252,000 miles. It has a bit of body damage. (Hit in parking lot, hit a deer) There is noticable wear and tear and it has a crack in the radiator that I dont plan on fixing. Im asking $1000 and everyone keeps saying "Wow," "thats it?" So am I asking too little??
