How much should I pay for ball joints and shocks on a dodge dakota with installation.?

That's a bit extreme. Especially for shocks. And if those prices include the labor, make sure the alignment is included.

You must have the older Dakota because the 2nd gen. the ball joints aren't serviceable.

the ball joints sounds high.just had mine done for $300.00 and mine is 4x4.the shocks i would never pay that much for.
