I am starting up a business, and will be taking portraits and shooting weddings. I have my price "guide" all sorted out already for portraits, and my prices includes several prints. I was just wondering how much I should markup the prices of prints if the customer wants more than the package offers. I know the reason that prints are marked up so much is for the photographers time, expertise etc. but I don't know how much to markup exactly.
The way I set my prices was I looked at other local photographers prices, and then made up a price guide that would fit right in. I would do the same for the prints, but I could not find a single site that showed the prices for individual prints.
Can anyone help me set up prices for individual prices, or let me know how to?
Thank you,
Cody
