How much should I be paying for a Giant, 26", 2 year old tour bike in great condition?

The guy says that he took it into a shop to get it tuned and said it didn't even need that. He also says that the guy he bought it from used it in the Tour De France (of course that's what he says, I don't know if it's true!)

I'm just looking for an estimate on how much I should be paying.
