...1999? My truck has been sitting in the shop for like a year and a half waiting to get it fixed. Wasnt in a rush to get it fixed because it was an extra car we had and didnt care but now im about to start driving and need it fixed asap. The guy owns his shop and fixes things all himself. Its been taking him so long because he had surgery and had been on bedrest for a few months so we didnt pound him to get it done. Heard the rest of his customers wernt so happy with him. We are being nice and trying to get him to get it done now that hes back to work. Hes been back to work for about a month now and STILL waiting. Getting mad and were gonna try to get a mad discount since its been sitting so long. Also he had to custom build the tranny because he says that this model truck stopped making those parts when 2000 came. So how much money should i expect to have to pay? Personally i think i should have it back for free and pay him just labor but no, please answer this with a good estimate. thanks.
