If you're talking Harlequin type, then not much unless they get you on a contract and then give you the basic outline of "this happens by this page" ...
Otherwise, if it's actually more than the Harlequin type you might have a chance if you get hooked in with the right publisher, but the money still isn't guaranteed. You would get an upfront amount and maybe a small percentage of royalties, but those don't start until they make a profit on them. There are agent fees and various other things that factor in and that's assuming you can get an agent. Most publishing companies barely give you a first look if you don't have one and agents don't usually give you a second if you don't have anything published.
