I used a car amplifier at home to drive two subs both 12" 200 watts rms. My car amplifier has an output power of 170 + 170 watts rms (if bridge) or 85 watts rms X 4 channels. Presently, i am powering the mentioned amplifier with an ac/dc power supply with output power of 12vdc X 15 amps. It works alright when the volume is low, but if the volume is high, the music is still good- really good - but both power lights (amplifier power light and power supply power light) "slow down and back again" specially when there's BIG BOOM BASS in the music (like hiphop music). i guess the problem is i got a low power supply, AM I RIGHT? If i am right.. can i then replace my existing power supply with a new one with an output power of 12vdc X 25 amperes? Thanks!!! (please comprehend my english because it's hard for me to describe/ to put into words the situation of my assembled home audio)
