how much paint do i need to paint my 1990 ford 150 xlt stand cab with long bed>?

whats the best way to get the best paint for cheap ? what is the best paint out there? and how do i know how much to haggle with a painter once i provide all the necesssities, by hour? by job? by size>? please help.. thanks
 
look on craigslist, look for salvage, ask a paint shop if they've got some "oops" paint. there is a book that professionals go by, giving hourly rates. ask. but the cheapest in the south USA is around $100; this varies by region and speed, and how many coats do you want? (5 to 15)
