My dipstick does not have cross hatches or a "full line". It does have two holes. I'm thinking the first hole is for one level and the second for "full". My car is making a funny noise and it seems to be coming from the pistons. My oil level is at the first hole. Can I/should I add more oil; and how much? Thank you.
