how much oil do I need to buy for my 2007 toyota corolla?

If you buy 6 quarts it is more than enough, that probably leaves you an extra quart to top off later.

Synthetic blend is a good value. Castrol Syntec is a good example of a synthetic blend oil with much good info about it on their website...
 
most al lcars hold 5 quarts some less so more and really any type of oil is fine synthetic oil great if you change it just like you would with regular oil just will cost you more to use it and changing the oil when its recomended saves the motor over the long run and no you cant buy online cheaper than going to walmarts or any parts store
