How much of a contaminated food does a person need to eat before getting food poisoning?

I made a dinner tonight with one of those "boxed meals" (I can't think of the name of it right now). Anyway, in the box there is two types of meat, noodles, and sauce. When I started eating it, I noticed it had a really weird taste. I then looked at the expiration date and it expired one year ago! I only took two or three bites. My stomach hurts right now (but it may be from worry). Could I get food poisoning from only eating 2 or 3 bites of contaminated food??
