how much more does a couple's "intimacy" increase after first having sex usually?

what is meant by "intimacy"? and how having sex increases this? or how it changes?

and is having sex and this level of intimacy a big "Trust issue"? why or how it feels to have sex and this type of intimacy with someone for them to turn on you and leave you after?

and do females do this as much as guys? (in more subtle ways or more openly as males often do , such as not answering the phone etc)

please explain how intimacy can be just as strong and less "volatile" to this situation possibly? and is it another good reason to save sex till after marriage vows?
