Yesterday I spilled a thermometer that broke. I took my temperature and after taking it out of my mouth, the tip broke off and little silver balls of mercury spilled on the floor. I cleaned them up, sprayed the area with cleaner, and then opened the windows for a few hours. Problem is, i'm not sure if any got in my mouth or I inhaled too much. Would the mercury in a small oral thermometer be enough to kill someone?
