I have a friend who just got primary custody of his son a couple of weeks ago because the mother was being negligent to the child. Since then she has been on a war path to get her son back. I just found out this morning that he was arrested a couple of days ago for PC 422. I don't know too much because I haven't talked to him but the bails bond said that his ex wife said he made some kind of threat to her and they arrested him and his trial is tomorrow morning. Its sad because I know this is all BS. This past year of fighting for custody has been hell for him and since he was awarded custody she has already called the police making accusations, called social services, etc but it was always thrown out but finally something worked because they arrested him. He has no prior record but I'm just wondering if he is charged with "making a threat" will he have to serve jail time. Is it possible for them to drop the charges. I'm just really worried so I'm hoping the outcome is in his favor.
