How much jail time do you get for statutory rape?

In California. In my story, the man is 20, and the woman is 16. She consents to the sex, but then she gets pregnant. Also, is their bail for statutory rapists? Oh, and a few questions for my story? Should the girl get pregnant? If so, should she miscarry? Cause i had this idea where a crazed fan(the guys a rockstar)comes up and attacks the woman carrying the baby, and she loses it. Is that good or not? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

1.Every sentence is different.He can go away for as little as 1 year or as long as 15 years and will be labled as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Google "statutory rape sentencing" and you might get a few articles.

#2.It doesn't matter if she consents.The age of consent in CA is 18.

#3.Doesn't matter if bail is set.If he is guilty, he will still be convicted.Bail is just to get the offender out of jail until the court hearing.

#4.Its a bit morbid but I guess it can make a good story plot line lol.
