As to what your 1220 is worth would depend on the condition and how old the bike is and what component group is on the bike. The Trek 1220 was made from 1994 to1998 and the retail price range was from $759 in 1994 to $899 in 1998. If it were me I'd start my pricing at $450 or best offer and see what kind of offers I could get. Start your pricing high so you can come down, give yourself some wiggle room to bargain. Who knows you may get lucky and get your asking price. Remember just because someone says the bike is only worth $250 doesn't mean there isn't someone out there willing to give you more.
