Well the Mazda rx-8 has the rotory engine which is fast bbut returns terrible fuel economy. It get a whopping 1.3l rotory with 18city/24hwy, manual or auto 6-speed and only puts out 212horses. But still really fast :-D
on the flywheel it it puts 232hp judging my the new SAE certified standards. of course there are reports of more or less hp readouts on the dyno.
the newer RX8 supposedly to be released 2010 or 2011 will be based entirely on a new engine platform and there is speculation of maybe more than 280hp on the flywheel. just rumors.
