i want to buy a 99 civic lx 4dr sedan but im not too impressed at a 1.6l 106 hp engine that comes standard, considering my 96 neon had a 2.0l and apparently 135 hp, and that was terribly slow and i had to get a running start if i ever wanted to pass a car. i was wondering if there were any simple ways to increase horsepower or just make it faster. money isnt that much of a issue but i am only 17 and work part time so nothing too outrageous like buying new engines or $2000 turbo packages.
