I've been looking into getting a new vehicle and have found a very good offer on a 2005 Ford Escape XLT. It has 93,000 miles (75,000 of which were commercial use) and is being offered for $7,770. It's a 3.0L V6 and the Carfax report I received from it shows that it is completely clean of any problems and has brand new tires put on.
However, it is about a 3 hour drive and I have not gotten the time to see it or test drive it. I've done a lot of research and this just seems like too good of a deal, and typically when it is, there's a problem.
Anybody have any ideas to whether there could be interior problems or anything hidden I cannot see on the carfax or anything the dealer isn't obligated to say over the phone?
And PLEASE no Ford haters or any other car company lover leaving pointless comments....thanks!
