I'm going to a community college for 2 years in Spring 2009. I filled out a fafsa for 2009-10 and my EFC is 0, but that is for Fall 2009. My counselor told me I have to fill out a 2008-09 fafsa for this spring which i did, and my EFC is 2867.
The problem is that my family's financial status has changed drastically since 2007. My dad can't and hasnt worked all last year because of a disability, and my mom is the only one who works and she earns very little. Unlike in 2007, when they both worked and we werent in debt. The only way i can attend college is if it is fully paid for. I cant take out loans due to my parents bad credit, and i have no credit.
So would i be able to get full financial aid for Spring 2009?
