How much does verizon wireless texting plan cost?

I know this isnt suppost to be in P&S but I figured theres more people here.. anyways My friend has the Unlimited texting plan. And she says it only cost $10. But my mom got me the $10 texting plan and I only have 500. Is there something different my friend has?
