how much does it normally cost to repair a head gasket on a 2002 ford mustang...

...gt? drivers side? started sputtering and losing power. felt like it was running on 7 cylinders. changed fuel filter, added fuel injector cleaner. checked coil packs, they are good, checked plugs, they are good. there was fluid around one spark plug kinda smelt like gas, but had a hint of antifreeze. not sure though( hopefully not). checked fuel injectors, they are all working. Its not throwing any codes or setting of any lights. could you tell me what you think or worse comes to worse replacing the head gasket.
 
1000? I'm guessing but its the labor that costs so much if you know a mechanic you could save a lot of money if they did the labor for half or free because you have to take the entire engine apart
