I drive a 1990 mazda mx5 miata with manual transmission (RWD) rear wheel drive and traditional front engine layout.
simply two questions.. how long does it take to replace engine mounts?
and how much does it cost with labour and parts? like around $65 an hour labour is at most repair shops.
and lastly i'm just wondering.. does my car have a manual transmission mount too or just two engine mounts on each side?
one more thing.. how do you usually check/diagnosis an engine mount in a manual transmission (RWD)? for example, like you would shift up and down with the brake peddle depressed with slight throttle inaction in an automatic transmission in a (FWD) front wheel drive car.
