How much does it cost to repair a car that failed a Smog Test?

Hello.
I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan that just yesterday failed a Smog Test. Now I am looking for some rough estimates on how much it is going to cost me to get the car repaired so that it can pass the test. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
The cost depends on what caused you to fail. Different parts will cost different amounts of money to repair/replace.
 
Your Caravan should have a "D" engine diagnostic computer connection that has been mandated by federal law since 1996. Take the Caravan to Auto Zone for a free diagnoses or take it to an automotive repair shop for an estimate.
