In reality, nobody can make a game by themselves
You need
-Sound Creaters
-Graphic Designers
-Gameplay Designers
-Controls
-Terrain Designers
-Flash Designers
-Character Designers
-Programmers
-Then if you want music to be in your game, you have to pay the orriginal creators.
If you want it to be online you need to server host it
With that HOLE team it will take about 1 year to make, and around 3 million dollars.
Then you need a bunch of computers for them to work for, and lists of programs.
Programs will cost around $10 000 per computer, and each computer lets say $1000 dollars.
Now, lets say you get 10 comps, thats 110 000 dollars + You need to pay your workers.
It will cost YOU around 6 million dollars for everything, they sell for 70$ each, and it depends on the popularity. Some people loose money, others might hit the jackpot and make millions (GTA makes like 100 million a year)
Making a game is not easy, it is very hard, you need lots of programs and staff. Only the top notch PS3 games make it to the shelves.
Did I mention you have to pay stores for shelfing? Yep. Big designers like Rockstar games and Activision PAY for the shelves that there games are put on. Anything from $1000 dollars a week to more.
