I had a small repair done on my wife's car,,,guy sez 850 dollars,,,i tell him im paying cash no insurance,,,he sez oh 225 dollars,,,,

go with the person to shop,,stand there and get the guy to say what cash price is for just the damage you did,,,if you just give insurance who knows,,,,they may get a whole new paint job...that's why i always have a digital Camera with me and always get a police report..
 
I scuffed a car today which was parked in the drop off zone at school. I didn't' even realise i had done it until i noticed a powdery mark on my car and phoned the owner of the car in front to ask if she had a mark on her car, she said she did but wouldn't even have noticed it unless i had said. She said that she had been meaning to take her car to the garage as it was previously scuffed on the other side and that i may want to pay her on my insurance as it can be costly to repair. My husband has gone mad saying that she is trying to scam me into paying for her repair because i'm too honest. I really don't think she would do this but i am hoping i can pay for it myself without having to go through my insurance as my excess is quite high.
