there a cheaper way? My boyfriend and I live in Australia, and our mobile phones are with Telstra. He's going to Bali with his family for two weeks.
If we text message or call each other while he's overseas it's going to cost a lot of money. Of course he's worth it and he would say the same about me, but the problem is at the moment we're just college students and couldn't afford the bill. Plus I know with some mobiles, they become disabled when they leave Australia .. not sure why, but my mother's mobile wouldn't work outside Australia. So it's most likely going to be two weeks of no contact at all ...
I have Skype on my phone but he doesn't and he can't download it because his phone doesn't support it ... we can't use computers because he won't have access to one.
Any idea on how we can stay in contact? I know it's probably nearly impossible but I thought I'd ask anyway ...
