There is a fairly high probability that my husband and I will be moving to San Fransisco with his work in the next few months or so (We are both British) and we are thinking of trying for our second baby soon. We've looked into health insurance costs and are now wondering what the difference would be if I was already pregnant when we got there. Does it make a difference? Actually the thought of leaving the good old NHS and branching out into the unknown with a second child terrifies me, so any other info on what it is like to give birth in the USA or SF would be greatly appreciated too!
