My wife and I have recently been sued by her ex-husband for travel expenses he pays during his visitation with the kids we have custody of. He also threw in a few other things such as claiming one kid on his federal income tax, and more trivial request. He has only paid $200 a month total since thier divorcee three years prior. Consequently we had our attorney file a motion to increases cs. We went through mediation and were able to iron things out however, we have been charge over $6000.00 for mediaiton. Is this typical? I was told initially this was a fast process and should be more like $2500 total.
