How much do you know about Canada?

I said that I know a little. I know about as much about Canada as I do about other foriegn countries...That and a lot of my favorite singers came from Canada!

Thanks to all who voted. I think I should have made this poll whereas some could vote anonymously, but it is my first poll and wasn't sure how to do that.
I figured some might be hesitant to respond because it is a public poll. :)

I know a fair amount about Canada since they are my Southern neighbor and some of the people that I work with are Canadians.

I say...as I try to remain on topic...I know a little about Canada. I know it's a big place, it's got a lot of French (yuck) influenced things, it's been used as a sanctuary for US draft dodgers, their skaters got cheated out of gold medals in the Olympics recently (thanks to the French (yuck) judges), there is great beauty in the land (I haven't been able to check out all of the women yet) but I haven't heard anything about gourmet Canadian cooking. What's the specialty? ...chocolate moose?

I know I want to visit some part of Canada some day.
Canada used to have 2 MLB teams; Blue Jays and Expos. But the Expos don't exist anymore. But Hocky is the big deal.
I know never to insult the beer...which will never happen since I can't drink alcohol anyway.
Most people don't bother to lock their doors.
William Shatner, Jim Carrey, Colin Machery, and Bryan Adams come from Canada:cool: :xgood:
But then again, well, they got Celine Dion :xbanghead :xbanghead :xbanghead

Oh, and when I pour maple syrup on my pancakes, isn't that from Canada?:)
The nation's capital has the exact same name as a small town in Kansas: Ottowa.

If you're into the theater, Toronto's got a fantastic theater district, great hotels and restaurants and you can even take a train in from Detroit.

Ah, you're missing one of Canada's greatest achievements, then. :xhoho:

DepenRAB on where in Canada that you live. If you live in Toronto, you lock your doors. I'm guessing that it's the same for Montreal and other cities.

Hey, Celine Dion's OK. I don't care for her music, but she seems to be a very down-to-earth person. :xgood:

Vermont. :)

Figures. But I guess in that case, I'm missing out on a lot of nations' greatest achievements.:xbanghead

I have not been able to stand her since the entire making me mad incident. It's not really that well known, but it happened back when any one of her songs came on over the radio.
