How much do grade 11 marks matter to get into dalhousie university?

I always heard that it is the grade 12 marks that the university looks at and just the grade 11 for early acceptence and scholarships. Is it true that the grade 11 marks do not really matter much. (This is for canadian university) (From a student in Ontario)
