How much damage has to be cause(Texas) for it to be Felony criminal mischief?

Me and somebody else egged somebodys car and were caught by the police. I think the damage will be around $400, possibly over $500 bucks. I heard it has to be $1500 or something to be a felony for Criminal mischief/destruction of property.

Are they going to send me to Alcatraz for this?
