How much clothing should I bring to college?

I know what to pack (jeans, tees, casual) but not sure of how much I need. Dorm rooms are small, but I don't want to be lugging clothes down to the washer every weekend. Anyone have a ballpark figure of how many of each type of clothing I'll need, like how many tanks, shirts, sweaters, jeans,etc.? (Moving to Virginia so I need clothes for all seasons)

To be honest .... EVERYTHING . i dont go to college but i do go to boarding school . i thought the samething. but it worked out. if it helps ... me and my mother went to like a walmart and got one of those extra drawer things . it reallyy helped. if that doesnt help...before you leave seperate the clothes you need & want with you. the rest give to charity .
 
enough that you can create new looks without wearing the same combination of clothes within 7 days..

i'm one of those people who notice what people wear.. haha
