How much can I get '08 1098 for?

Hello,
I was reading this forum for several weeks and finally decided to join. I recently sold my '07 Gixxer 1000 and trying to get a '08 1098. Can someone tell me how much I can buy it for? (lowest) and recommend a dealer near LA?

It seems like dealers are not willing to give discounts at all... but I met a guy who bought his '08 1098 for $17,300 including tax and docs. Is this possible in LA??

$17,300 was the '07 price OTD so maybe he had a '07 on order and the dealer just happen to honor it.

I'd give the locale dealers a try and get them to compete for the sale. You may also wanted to add the Ducati dealer in Fresno (Wilson's). I've heard they were really competitive with price (and now is a good time of year to just ride it down).

I finally got my Duc 1098 yesterday!!!!!!
I paid $17800 out the door for 08 model
It looks awesom! I love it!!

We hardly get any rain, matter of fact, we are so low on water level we need to conserve our water..
