How much can I claim back from court appearance?

I recently paid privately for a court case I was involved in and subsequently won.
I would now like to claim the money I paid back but apparently there is a new rule now which means I wont get the full amount back..Does anyone know how they work out what I can claim back? or do I just get a percentage back?
