i've got a 2000 S-10 ZR2 that i dont particularly car for. but selling it is not an option right now. so im thinking of putting on ether a Squires turbo system rear mounted turbo kit or a 4.3 stage 1 from DTS2.net. they do about 8 or 9 psi but im wondering how much boost the 262ci can handle with out changing the internals. i know the 4.3 liter is virtually the same as a 5.7L with 2 cylinders lopped off of it. and it can take some serious boost. i would like to get 16psi. which is about what i was running thru my toyota 22R-E and it gave me no problems.
i know you can make 300HP with a naturally aspirated 4.3 for $500 ish but i love the sound of a blow of valve however im not sure how much boost i can get away with and im concerned forced induction can be more pricey

should i N/A tune it instead?
