Ok since i am known for being super patriotic here it's time for me to be sincere about few things lol
I spent this weekend in Denmark and even though i have been in almost all Europe, it was the first time i visited a north European country and i confess it was the first time visiting a country and feeling kinda ummmm.................maybe ashamed, i would not say exactly ashamed but like a Citizen of C or B class compared to them,not only for Greece but even for countries as Italy and France!
Now i understand why worldwide all countries when they want to mention "perfection" in terms of society and organization they mention the famous "Swedish or Danish models" of society!
Guys has any of you ever visited before a Scandinavian country?
These people work hard,their streets never have any water even though it rains 10 times more than Greece,the kindness and professionalism of people in restaurants,stores or public services is SHOCKING if you come from a country like Greece,their social systems are retirement payments,health care system or services for the citizen are "unreal" for our standards!
The clean roads,the way houses are built in order,the huge pavements,the non existent traffic,the patience of the people ,i am in a big big big Shock right now,i had heard all these things but i could not believe them until i saw them with my own eyes!
Their national "hero" athlete a boxer who is a world champion lost in a very unfair way and people instead of getting mad or ruining everything like we do usually lol THEY DID APPLAUD THE AMERICAN ,I WAS BEYOND SHOCKED WITH THE CIVILIZATION OF THESE PEOPLE!
I mean Greece is the mother of civilization historically but currently we are nowhere near the best let's be honest,Scandinavian countries must be the best in the world no joke,it's the first time i visit a country AND I SWEAR I HAVE NOTHING BAD TO SAY but only good things!
Can you imagine if i feel like this how a man from Fyrob or Albania and Turkey would feel going there,i mean these people consider Greece a paradise so go figure what Denmark would seem in their eyes lol!
