If your country does not qualify.... or is eliminated.... do you still watch the games or stop watching because you country is out?
No matter what country you represent... the game should be enjoyed for the love of soccer, futbol, or football.., etc
I had a teacher who was English get upset during their loss to Portugal, and didn't care about the Germany vs. Argentina match. I thought that was stupid... no matter what country you're from... a good game is a good game to watch. He didn't want to watch any more games because they were out.
I also heard that in 2002 when co- hosts Japan was out... the rest of the world cup news was not getting the coverage in the newspapers. I heard the fans didn't care as soon as they were out.
What are your thoughts?
