Does our President believe that our enemy is not capable / willing to "wait it out" ?
IMO- This was nothing more than throwing a bone to his far left base at the expense of National Security and any hope of Victory. However, he may define it.

Yes, when fighting an United Nations sponsored war to protect Muslism, when our troops are NOT under our command, it is very important to have a clear plan.
However, in this instance, it is OUR war fighting against OUR enemy.
