My boyfriend was a witness in an armed robbery and he gave a statement to the police that day. He was subpoenaed and showed up to court as instructed, but one of the defendants and the other witness did not show up. They told him they would be on touch, BUT they are not sure when the next court date will be. We are moving across the country this month. How many times do they reschedule if the other parties are not reliable? And will my boyfriend be in trouble if he doesn't get the subpoena because we moved?
