WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS?!
I believe the iMac G4 has a maximum capasity of 1GB RAM. I don't know how many slots it has, but you can check by selecting the apple logo in the top left hand corner of your screen, and selecting 'about this mac'. From here, select 'more info'. This brings up a new application. If you select memory from the left pane, you will see how many slots are available on the right pane.
