I am a 43 y/o man and voted in the Primary for the 1st time this year. I've only not voted once otherwise when Clinton was running against Dole. I felt neither candidate was worthy. I do not vote on Party Lines, I vote for the person and their values and what I hear from them.
This year I voted for Obama even though I may or may not in the fall. If Clinton had carried my state I would have felt personally responsible if I had not voted for Obama. I am still undecided on my fall vote, but am leaning to McCain at the moment.
Other people locally laugh and say they did the same thing. I thought I was the only one, but I guess others had the same tactic in mind.
Just wondering!!!
What I mean though is that I wouldn't necessarily be upset with Obama as President, I just felt a duty to keep Hillary out.
I just wanted to see if anyone else had heard the concept before. A friend of mine in Alaska (female 46 y/o) said she'd move to Canada if Hilary won. She'd been staunch GOP all her life, from a farm family too, but the last I heard she's voting Obama. We all cross lines and use that one little vote we have a strategically as we can.
The original question was wheter anyone voted one way to ELIMINATE a potential candidate, then vote differently later! I'm not trying to start a discussion about who WILL succeed! The original question??? PLEASE!!
