...& for financial security? I have just been added to the statistics of living in a love-less marriage. We haven't got any familiarity with each other, common interests, conversations that do not involve our kids, no special 3 words of 'I love you' for so long now. Thinking back, I see that the marriage has only been surviving with the common thread of wanting the best for our kids - nothing for ourselves or each other.
My question is, how many of u out there are living that way? & If so, how bearable / unbearable does it become from here on? We are no longer on speaking terms, not rude, just not speaking and we sleep in different rooms.
Divorce is out of the question as I have cancer and have lost my eyesight in the one eye. So having a job [that pays] is not easy for me. My kids are 11 and 13.
