...failure and return to Mw2? It's true. We can't hide from the fact that CoD:BlkOps was a total failure, and a cheaply made port of MW2.
For one, Spawn points. I'm not going to b*tch about this- I'm a PC gamer and all my friends use X-Box live because of their lack of education.
But that's why I don't pay for games. . .
Also, I don't have any COD games because the truth is - The COD series is RENTABLE, at best.
If you want an FPS with style, and real skill involved, you know where to find the STEAM community.
But that's enough trash talking, isn't it? It's time for some facts. . .
~30+% of spawn points in COD:BO are within sight/aim to kill of another spawn point.
(The one map most noticeable of this is the NukeTown, where either part of a team in team-deathmatch may spawn on either side of the map- already looking and aiming at an unsuspecting victim of a game that's supposed to be poised on realism.)
Spawnpoints such as this are not realistic, and we need not argue about it.
If it were me, it would go back to "one life per game" like in classic Counter-Strike. That 11 kill streak should be EASY if your not like most CoD players. . .
(I.E. "I know where the entire enemy team is! Time to rush out with the ballistic knife!")
Yes. That in the parentheses. . . That's your average 12 year old CoD player. . .The one's who aren't even old enough to play the game.
~The Ps3 exploits and recent hacking.
Yes. I play on the PC- and play games like TF2, and such- and actually. I'm one of the people who could give one flying f*ck about hats. Hats don't do anything- So I don't care.
But regardless, I do keep up with the times- and I see right now that Ps3 will fail. They failed with the Ps2, they failed with PsP, and they failed with the PsPGO and all other variations of everything they've ever manufactured. This is not speculation, it's fact- We need not argue about this either.
Also- I have a PSP. I love it as an Mp3 player and other gaming media source- so please don't confuse my bias against it. I really do love Sony, but even I cannot deny their shortcomings.
~Valve owns so much of the gaming market. (Saying this, will probably be the worst thing I could do. And may very well start an argument.)
Whether it starts an argument or not- It's true. Valve has always been an indie gamer haven, and most of the games you play today would just NOT be the same if VALVe or a team affiliated with them had touched it.
Truth is, you can find any game on STEAM for less than in a store-
This isn't because they want your money.
This is because they want your money, and THEY are gamers too.
Games, made by gamers, for gamers.
Activision could care less about what YOU want from a game. (If nothing else I've said is taken to heart, or seriously, THIS one statement is the one you should say over and over in your head.)
~So, back to CoD:blk Ops. . .
Did they even do surveys on the kill streaks? No. That's obvious. The kill streaks are as unpopular as EVER, and the development team decided to keep some of the most unpopular kill-streaks- and even worse- decided to make such kill-streaks as the GunShip- Which will only be revealed as a failure in the upcoming months. The attack dogs? Wonderful. We've been waiting for than for a long time, and hopeful that it would happen and become a kill streak. I remember the days when I wished that my kill streak would release only 2 dogs. I guess I under-wished. . .
But with the advent of the gunship, fully controllable- the attack dogs are not worth it. . .
So wha about us whom wanted a little remote control helicopter? you gave us that retarded RC-XD.
Oh yes. . . This is a FLAW. You have the source code to make the gunship controllable, but you couldn't make us all happy with an RX-HC? I can read code-
Give it an extra month of work and make the people happy instead of releasing a game that's not finished just to make money.
(Yes. It was developed, and released in a rush. To take, YOUR money.)
