How many miles will a Honda CR-V go for?

I am looking into buying a 1999 Honda CR-V. It already has 141,000 miles on it, but they are only asking just under $5,000. Is it a good deal? And I was wondering how much longer it would go for? If anyone has any information on anything about them that would be great! Thanks!!
 
If you change your timing belt every 60,000 miles and keep up on your maintenance you should be good for 250,000 miles or better. even if the engine goes you could always get a new one.
 
There is no magic number. All modern cars are designed to last 10 years and 150k miles.

If you take good care of it and dont abuse it they can last longer. If you dont take care of it and abuse it then it would be dead by now. The best you could do now is have someone qualified that you trust check it out. They could give you a good idea of its current condition and past history.
