How many miles will a 2000 Mazda Protege last?

I have a 2000 Mazda Protege with over 154k on it. I am wondering how much longer it will last if well maintained. I am asking because I'm trying to decide whether it will last long enough to make rust repairs on it worth it. If not, I will save my money and prepare to buy another car.
