D Don W Guest Oct 16, 2008 #2 Depends on the previous maintenance and repairs. If nothing has been done other than oil changes then it could break real soon. If it has been well maintained then it can go for a long time. Most common issues with these was engine rattle due to worn out timing chain tensioner.guides, very expensive to repair.
