How many miles can I expect from my 2003 Dodge Dakota V-8?

I would like to know how many miles people are getting from this newer V-8 Dodge dropped the 318 in favor of? How could Dodge get any more stupid?? Anyway, I almost did not get my 2003 Dakota because of that. I have 78,000 on mine as I write this on this little truck with zero problems. I know lucky me but the little truck has been very good to me. What can I expect mileage wise? Opinions please.
 
i got 300,000 out of the one i had before rear end lock up but motor was stil running 78,000 nothing for any car or truck ive got three with over 300,000 miles now running fine its all about car care and how well you do it
 
How could Dodge get any more stupid? What do you mean? Theyre putting out the best trucks in the business! I have a Dodge truck with over 600,000 miles on it.

Your Dakota's engine and transmission should last atleast 500,000 miles. Dodges just dont quit. They build the most durable trucks on the planet.
