...up security on school campuses? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,334691,00.html

Two threats just today!! The week of NIU there was two or three threats! I will not disclose the university I go to, but the security measures they say they have taken aren't even blips on the radar screen. Showing an ID at the 1st floor desk doesn't stop anything. I've managed to get into dorm buildings with an ID that isn't for that dorm, just to prove that this faulty security. Call boxes across campuses are great, but don't do anything to help once a shooter is in a building. Even once a shooter is in a building there is no way of alerting students of an emergency.

The Feds need to do something serious. This is no laughing matter, yet it seems like they don't show the slightest bit of concern on the subject. The economy is an issue, this is a serious problem

Hopefully forever. I wouldn't want the feds on my campus! State's rights.

The world isn't ever going to be 100% safe and I don't think that colleges should be run like police states. Especially by the federal government.

yes, lets all live in a police state. there is nothing that can be done about the single crazed murderer. neither you nor I want to give up the everyday freedoms. just do the best we can, lock the doors and keep aware. have emergency plans ..... you cant forcast for a mad man
